Your Best Year Yet!

How to Have Your Best Year Yet!

Do you ever think:
'If only I could just be me'?

Well, I often think of this when I’m thinking of all the roles I play in my life, for example; home- maker, bill-payer, finance manager, business woman, property developer, partner, mother, care provider, teacher, peace-keeper etc.

Seeing a snapshot, of where we are now, helps us gain clarity; as we take stock,
we recognise areas for improvement.

Haven't I missed the boat and messed up already?

Setting wellness goals can be done any time, but doing an exercise to take stock of where you are now, to gain clarity on where you want to be, aligns with, and is pertinent to the new financial year.

With the start of a new financial year comes a great opportunity to set new wellness goals.

Now I know people ... know what to do but they don't always do what they know!

Just as people know what makes them happy but they don't take those steps to becoming happier, often because they feel muddled, conflicted and pulled in too many directions!

The good news is, we've created a tool to help you manage those directions, adapted from the

Wheel of Life concept.

So for now, watch my Best Year Yet demo video which I've created with YOU in mind!

Prioritising self-care:

As we begin a new financial year, it's important to prioritize self-care to ensure that we are in the best possible mental and physical health. Think about different self-care strategies, such as meditation, exercise, and healthy eating, and how to make time for them in your busy schedule.

Building healthy habits:

Developing healthy habits is key to achieving your wellness goals. In a later blog we will be writing about the science of habit formation and will provide practical tips for building healthy habits that stick.

Mindset and motivation:

Maintaining the right mindset and staying motivated is essential for achieving your wellness goals. I can't stress enough, the importance of a positive and clear mindset, as the more tasks you can handle without thinking, the more your brain is free to focus on other areas. In future blogs, we'll be provide tips for staying motivated throughout the year.

Financial wellness: Financial wellness is an important aspect of overall wellness. Think about how to manage your finances effectively and make smart financial decisions that support your overall wellness goals. Ensure your SMART goals; specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound goals, align with your overall vision for wellness.

Community and connection:

Connecting with others and building a supportive community is an important part of wellness. In our mini-course Think Backwards, we explore the importance of social connections and provide tips for building a supportive network of friends and family.

Learn more about our mini-course here.

Reflection and gratitude:

Reflection and gratitude are powerful tools for promoting wellness. Why not keep a blog or journal and focus on the benefits of reflection and gratitude. Within our courses we provide practical exercises for incorporating them into your daily routine. More on this later.

These are just a few ideas to get you started. Remember to keep your mind engaged and informed...

Ooh and before I forget, here's our Wheel of Life Workbook - our gift to you today.

Good luck with your reflection and journalling!
